I absolutely loved Original Thai. I ordered the green curry entree, recommended by the waitress. It was bursting with flavor! The customer service was wonderful, and it had a great atmosphere. And with the workers actually from Thailand, it couldn't be any more authentic.
Food Quality: 4.5 Stars
This was my first experience with Thai food. The waitress recommended the green curry. I have had curry many times before, but never Thai curry. I was surprised with how soup-like it was. The curry included one of a choice of three meats, a bowl of Jasmine rice and a side of Asian vegetables. The green curry had a wonderful spicy flavor. I highly recommend it, and would order it again.
Price: 3 Stars
Most of the entrees were around $10. I got just enough food to fill me up, but not enough to need a take-home box. The food was delicious, but the prices were a little high.
Customer Service: 5 Stars
The customer service at Original Thai was near perfect. The waitress was prompt and polite, and periodically asked if we needed anything. She got us our check quickly, and as i paid it was fun to talk to the cashier about Thailand and the restaurant.
Cleanliness: 4 Stars
The building and tables at Original Thai looked a little old, but they were very clean. One small exception was a small amount of straw garbage that I saw on one of the tables. The plats, cups and silverware were all very clean.
Atmosphere: 5 Stars
Original Thai had a great atmosphere. They played soft music in the background and had many pictures of Thailand and Thai food covering the walls. Best and most important of all, Original Thai is run by an actual Thai family. What more could I expect?
