Overall Rating: 4.3 out of 5 Stars

Right off the bat, this place deserves a high rating. I ate there twice this week, once ordering the old-fashioned wayand one time at the buffet. While I often hear talk of people missing the “old Craigo’s,” the new building, larger dining area, and buffet-style restaurant are a step in a good direction. The quality and quantity of food cater to college students, and they bring a positive energy. But watch out for the “World’s Ugliest Bathroom.”

Many patrons order the all-you-can-eat pizza/pasta/salad buffet, and the price is very reasonable. Toppings range from chicken to buffalo wings to the classic supreme, with everything in between. And once you’ve filled up on the main course, leave room for the dessert pizza or the famous Cookie Monster.

Food Quality: 5 Stars

The pizza is outstanding. I tasted the chicken, supreme, sausage, pepperoni, and buffalo wing pizza and the cheesy bread. There wasn't a single slice that wasn't nice. The salad bar offered a good a variety of toppings and dressings, and everything is fresh. If you need a change from pizza, try the all-you-can-eat pasta bar.

Price: 4 Stars

For heavyweights the buffet price is nice, but light eaters may not get the most bang for their buck. However, with options of a fresh salad and pasta bar, the money spent on healthy choices may be worth it.

Customer Service: 4 Stars

It’s fast and easy if you go for the buffet, but if you order old-school-style, plan on about a 15-20 minute wait for your food (standard for most pizza places). And employees can be scarce. When I was there, I went to check on my order and couldn’t find an employee to talk to anywhere. (In my second visit this week, service was not a problem; neither has it been, usually, in prior visits. It may have been a rough day this time.)

Cleanliness: 4 Stars

The staff did well to keep the restaurant clean. However, sometimes things got a little crowded at the buffet table, and as mentioned before, the bathrooms are slightly dirty.

Atmosphere: 4.5 Stars

Craigo's offers private rooms for groups and small booths with adjustable mood lighting; regular light for the first date, and low light when thing's are feeling a little more romantic. The setting can be great for family parties, guys night out, or a one-on-one meal.
